Abstract

Depuis une vingtaine d'annees, l'interet affiche a l'egard des nouvelles pratiques de gestion ne s'est pas dementi tant dans la presse a large diffusion que dans les ecrits plus scientifiques. Dans un premier temps, nous proposons d'examiner la teneur de ces ecrits. Nous ferons en suite un releve sommaire de nouvelles pratiques dans le cadre du processus de gestion traditionnel afin de pouvoir repondre a la question posee par le titre de cette communication: s'agit-il veritablement de nouvelles pratiques, en ce sens que celles-ci rendent possible une relation professionnelle davantage marquee par l'autonomie pour les employes, ou au contraire avons-nous affaire a de nouvelles formes de controle plus sophistiquees que celles heritees de la revolution industrielles?
