Systemes d'information et entreprises: conbergence ou incertitude?

Abstract

L'industrie informatique connait, depuis les annees 80, de profondes turbulences qui se sont traduites au cours de ces derniere annees par une redistribution des positions de marche. On evoque le passage d'un modele vertical d'organisation de l'industrie a un modele horizontal qui correspondrait a des positionnements de specialisation sur une composante, voire sur une strate de l'offre (logiciel, microprocesseurs,...). L'objet de cet article vise a introduire l'idee que les strategies d'offre ne peuvent se traduire de maniere effective en termes de structures de marche que dan la mesure ou l'adoption des concepts offerts constituera la condition permissive de formation d'une demande.
