Abstract

Ce travail de recherche propose une appréhension conceptuelle des déterminants de la décision d’externalisation logistique à la lumière de la théorie des coûts de transaction (T.C.T.). La décision d’externalisation est d’abord expliquée à travers l’influence directe de trois attributs fondamentaux de la transaction : spécificité des actifs, incertitude et fréquence. Elle est ensuite expliquée par l’influence indirecte d’autres variables contextuelles organisationnelles : la taille de l’entreprise, son niveau de compétences et le niveau de structuration de la fonction logistique dans l’entreprise.
