Descomposición de los Saldos Fiscales en las CC.AA. 2007-2014

Abstract

En este trabajo se aplica la metodología que sigue la Comisión Europea para descomponer el Saldo Fiscal de las regiones en su componente cíclico y estructural en el periodo 2007-2014. Aunque el Saldo Fiscal se empezó a reducir en 2012, los resultados de la descomposición realizada en este documento muestran que el ajuste fiscal en las CC.AA. empezó en 2010. A pesar de llevar 5 anos de ajuste en las CC.AA. todavía queda pendiente un 0,4% del PIB. Además, existe una elevada dispersión en el esfuerzo pendiente, puesto que algunas regiones tienen las cuentas equilibradas en términos estructurales mientras en otras está todavía pendiente un ajuste que supera el 1% del PIB.
