Abstract

Ces notes de cours sont destinées à rendre accessible la littérature contemporaine sur la politique monétaire aux étudiants de second et de troisième cycles. Certaines sections plus difficiles, indiquées par une étoile(∗), peuvent être survolées lors d’une première lecture (en second cycle, notamment). La première section présente les fondements microéconomiques du modèle de la nouvelle synthèse. La deuxième section rééxamine les questions de politique monétaire optimale dans le cadre de ce modèle et la troisième section introduit les règles opératoires et présente la base de ce qui peut constituer le coeur des nouveaux modèles macroéconométriques.
