Una tipología de modelos económicos

Abstract

Este trabajo, de carácter metodológico, esta motivado por dos preocupaciones: La primera se relaciona con un intento para discriminar entre la literatura comunicada por las revistas académicas de Economía. La segunda se refiere a la relación, poca o mucha, que hay entre los modelos de teoría económica y las políticas públicas que implementan los gobiernos. Analiza varios tipos de modelos teóricos: 1) Modelos ideológico-nominales. 2) Modelos descriptivos. 3) Modelos normativos. 4) Modelos de decisión individual. 5) Modelos de interacción de agentes sin poder. 6) Modelos de interacción de agentes con poder. Analiza también los modelos de verificación o contraste, en los que distingue entre: 1) Modelos econométricos. 2) Modelos de economía experimental.
