Abstract

This article aims to draw a panorama of French research in corporate governance. It highlights the main actors (authors, dissertation directors, universities), the most influential works and popular themes of research. This work is based, in particular, on the inventory of articles dealing with corporate governance, published in the main French scientific reviews in economics and management during the period (1994-2003) and on the inventory of dissertations since 1985.
