Abstract

Limiter les retraits de travailleurs “âgés” de la population active nuit-il à l'emploi des “plus jeunes” ? Est-il opportun de répondre aux restructurations par le renvoi des “plus âgés” dans l'inactivité? Ce numéro de Regards économiques explique qu'au-delà du court terme, limiter les retraits des travailleurs âgés n'est pas une menace pour l'emploi des jeunes. Compte tenu de la coexistence d'importants mouvements de destructions mais aussi de créations d'emploi, nous argumentons qu'il faut d'autres voies plus respectueuses des intérêts de la collectivité.
