Abstract

En este trabajo se exponen las principales metodologías de medición de líneas de pobreza absoluta por ingresos. Se explican los diversos métodos de medición de la línea de pobreza y se especifican los alcances de cada uno. Adicionalmente se presentan las metodologías de medición de líneas de pobreza absoluta adoptadas por varios países en desarrollo. ****** This paper shows the main methodologies in absolute monetary poverty lines measuring. We explain several methods for measuring the poverty line and stress in the scopes of each of them. Additionally we present the methodologies in absolute poverty lines measuring adopted for several developing countries.
