La escasa información sobre la inversión de las firmas en investigación y desarrollo (I&D) genera dificultades para la medición de su impacto en la actividad económica. Se desarrolla un modelo teórico orientado a determinar el impacto de la inversión en I&D en la economía y se demuestra que cuando una firma aumenta su inversión en I&D puede aprovechar la existencia de spillovers.
