Ruptura Colonial. En la búsqueda de un ethos económico

Abstract

Los procesos de transformación ideológica, orientados por las concepciones de desarrollo de personalidades de la política y la economía, durante el siglo XIX en Colombia, se pueden leer como la respuesta a unproceso anacrónico de adopción de patrones que no correspondieron al ordenamiento económico del momento. Lo que acarreó la formulación de una mentalidad modernizadora" sustentada en experiencias individuales e ideas foráneas, a partir de las cuales se pretendió desarrollar una idea de lo económico, lo social y lo político.En este sentido, para identificar la formación de un ethos económico, el presente artículo se dimensiona en el contexto del debate desarrollado en torno a la idea de un Estado nacional en Colombia en el período de 1850-1890 y que se evidenció en los procesos de transformación institucional."
