Este documento evalúa el comportamiento de la tasa de desempleo de la ciudad de Bogotá a la luz de dos enfoques teóricos (Tasa Natural de Desempleo – Nauru e histéresis) y varios enfoques metodológicos que analizan la tipología del desempleo. A partir de dichos enfoques se realizan varias estimaciones de tasas naturales ya sea mediante Curvas de Phillips o mediante filtros de Hodrick y Prescott. Posteriormente se procede a abordar una caracterización de los diferentes tipos de desempleo (friccional, estructural, cíclico). Finalmente se sugiere una agenda de investigación sobre el tema.
