Abstract

O propósito deste artigo é compreender as caraterísticas fundamentais da lógica da política externa global do Brasil diante do assim chamado processo de rebipolarização das relações internacionais vigente durante grande parte do decênio de 1980. Nesse sentido, trata-se de uma analise que se enquadra tanto no campo da história das relações internacionais contemporâneas da América Latina e do Caribe, quanto no campo da história da Guerra Fria – ou melhor, da história da Segunda Guerra Fria
