    Abstract

    Desde hace mucho tiempo la construcción de fronteras virtuales o materiales se ha constituido en un hecho histórico, cuya frecuencia al parecer deja de asombrarnos. En la década de los años de posguerra asistíamos conmocionados y temerosos frente a la estrategia utilizada por la Cortina de Hierro, durante lo que fue quizás el período de la tercera guerra mundial, o ante el Muro de Berlín que escindió un país en dos sectores rivales en el dominio mundial. Afortunadamente, estos trágicos ejemplos desaparecieron y la destrucción del último fue saludada con grandes festejos, abrazos y muestras de adhesión de la comunidad internacional, cuyo resultado debería ser la integración de las dos mitades. Hecho solamente ambicionado, ya que se demostró que la integración de los alemanes del este con los del oeste no fue tan rápida ni tan placentera como se había pensado.
