Abstract

The winds of change observed in Chile have to do with a citizen perception activated thanks, by a side, to the good administration of president Ricardo Lagos, the fall of the image of Pinochet and the sprouting of a figure like Michelle Bachelet, that incarnates in herself the social changes activated in last years. Nevertheless, the expectations that rise around Bachelet are many and perhaps they will be very difficult to handle. Of how she fights with them, it will depend the success of her administration.
