Abstract

Los vínculos con África figuran entre las principales prioridades diplomáticas de Pekín. Sin lugar a dudas, China aspira a desempeñar un papel especialmente activo –y competitivo-, incluso de liderazgo, en el continente africano. Su política en relación a África está transmitiendo una imagen de progresivo liderazgo de China en el continente, muy alejado de las contiendas ideológicas anheladas en su día por Mao con su discurso tercermundista, y hoy centrado en la activación de intereses económicos comunes y en un compartido anhelo de no ingerencia en lo político, del que ambos pueden beneficiarse a nivel internacional.
