    Abstract

    Les explications fatalistes des croyances comme résultats de forces mystérieuses laissent passer sous silence l’action déterminante des groupes d’activistes en tous genres. Dans notre travail, nous adoptons une perception cognitiviste des croyances qui au moins le mérite, contrairement aux explications relevant du mystère, de nous permettre de comprendre l’origine de certaines croyances objectivement infondées, sources de blocage et de paralysie institutionnel. Le but de notre travail sera donc dans un premier temps, de déterminer la nature, l’origine et l’évolution des croyances en se basant sur les analyses socio-économiques subjectivistes. Puis, dans un second temps, expliquer, l’aspect souvent négligé par les théories culturalistes, que les croyances ne sont pas ex nihilo, et que, derrière chaque croyance, on peut trouver ce que nous appellerons un groupe d’activistes qui en tire les ficelles. Enfin, dans un troisième temps nous proposerons, en s’imprégnant des analyses subjectivistes, un modèle explicatif des inerties causées par l’adhésion à des croyances non fondées.
