Abstract

Este artigo objetivou avaliar a viabilidade econômico-financeira da implantação de diferentes modelos de biodigestores em duas propriedades rurais produtoras de suínos no município de Toledo, Paraná. Como corolário, os investimentos produziram indicadores que apontaram inviabilidade econômica em uma das propriedades sem a venda de créditos de carbono e viabilidade na outra, com retornos já no segundo ano após a implantação do biodigestor. Não obstante, considerou-se o potencial de geração de renda e economias e verificou-se que, em propriedades que não geram grande potencial de dejetos, a implantação de biodigestores convencionais é inviável econômico e financeiramente.---------------------------------This paper aimed to evaluate the economic-financial viability of the different models of biodigestor’s implantation in two rural properties, which raise swines in Toledo district, Paraná. As corollary, the investments generated indicators which pointed economical inviabilities in one of the properties without the selling of carbon credit and viability in the other one, with feedbacks in the second year after the biodigestor implantation. Despite, it was considered the potential of income and economies generation and it was verified that in properties which do not generate great potential of wastes. The implantation of conventional biodigestors is not economic and financial viable.
