Cooperativas Como Forma De Organização Da Agricultura Familiar

    Abstract

    A agricultura familiar desempenha um importante papel socioeconômico na sociedade, proporcionando a permanência do homem no campo, conseqüentemente evitando o êxodo rural, e reduzindo o crescimento dos cinturões da pobreza em torno das cidades a procura de trabalho. O foco central do presente estudo concentra-se em discutir os motivos que levam as pequenas famílias rurais a buscar diferentes maneiras de se organizar, e de que maneira isso ocorre. Para isso utilizou-se de estudo de natureza descritiva e exploratória, através de 12 entrevistas semi-estruturadas com produtores rurais, representantes de cooperativas, agroindústrias familiares e com o presidente da Agroart na 30ª Expointer/Esteio, RS. Os resultados obtidos com a pesquisa levam a conclusão que a maioria dos produtores rurais e das agroindústrias está buscando se unir com intuito de organizar os processos produtivos, padronizar produtos, com qualidade e em maior escala, facilitando o acesso aos mercados e aumentando os poderes de barganha junto aos fornecedores de insumos e compradores do produto final. Observou-se que, para a maioria das pequenas famílias entrevistadas, há motivação para organizar a produção por meio de cooperativas. A análise dos dados foi feita qualitativamente utilizando como embasamento teórico agricultura familiar, agroindústrias e cooperativas. The family agriculture plays an important role in socioeconomic society. This fact provides that some people staying in the field and avoiding the rural exodus and poverty in the city. The objective of this study is the discussion about the reasons of the small rural families to look for different ways of organization, and the different ways that it happens. In this study was used the descriptive and exploratory method, through 12 semi-structured interviews with farmers, representatives of cooperatives, family and agricultural industries that were in the 30th Expointer, event that was in Esteio/RS. The results of this study permitted conclude that the majority of farmers and agricultural industries are uniting with the proposed to improve the production processes, furthermore, standardize products, and have quality products. With the increase of scale market the farmers and agricultural industries can bargain in the inputs purchase and with buyers of the final product. In the majority of interviews was said that they are motivated to organize production through cooperatives. Data analysis was performed using a theoretical qualitatively about family farming, agricultural industries and cooperatives.
