Indikatoren einer sozial nachhaltigen Landwirtschaft

Abstract

Die Forderung, neben ökologischen auch ökonomische und soziale Aspekte bei einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung der Landwirtschaft zu betrachten, findet sich immer häufiger. Die Definition von sozialer Nachhaltigkeit, die Auswahl der Indikatoren und die Adressaten der Forschung sind dagegen sehr heterogen. Der vorliegende Beitrag wertet fünf verschiedene Indikatorsysteme zur sozialen Nachhaltigkeit im Hinblick auf Fragestellungen, Themenbereiche und gewählte Indikatoren aus. Es zeigt sich, dass es zwar einen gewissen Grundkonsens gibt, welche Themen für wichtig gehalten werden, wie etwa die Arbeitsbedingungen oder der Tierschutz. Die gewählten Indikatoren, Schwerpunktsetzungen und die Adressaten von Studien sind dagegen sehr unterschiedlich.
