Abstract

Many has been said about the links between corporate social responsibility and non profit sector. Non profit organizations have developed fundraising stuff in order to implement their projects. This article identifies the extent to which the most important Romanian NGOs are relating with companies in developing their responsible projects. The article presents a content analysis of the most important Romanian NGOs; the most recent annual reports of five nongovernmental Romanian NGOs are studied. By using content analysis, it is presumed to identify a set of common patterns that will contribute to defining certain general features regarding the financial resources acquired by the considered social sector, respectively to the characteristics related to the companies’ financial contributions. The analysis’ finalities are expected to be embedded into a series of guidelines with regard to the mode of approaching and ensuring the corporate support in achieving the range of objectives sought by NGOs handling social services.
