A Indústria de frangos no Brasil: constituição e transformações

Abstract

O presente artigo trata da constituição da indústria de frangos no Brasil, bem como de suas transforções tecnológicas e estruturais. Enfatiza o processo de estruturação e reestruturação com base nas estratégias competitivas adotadas pelas firmas da indústria e que estão relacionadas, principalmente, às mudanças tecnológicas de processos e produtos. Utiliza o aporte teórico da organização industrial e indica as principais mudanças que ocorrem desde sua de formação da indústria, caracterizada como oligopólio competitivo, e que, em função das concorrência estabelecida apresenta uma tendência de para uma estrutura oligopólica que combina as características de oligopólio competitivo com diferenciado em função do grande número de lançamento de produtos.
