Abstract

This paper review different issues presented in the VI Annual Conference of the Central bank of Chile concerning the relationship between banking market structure, regulation and monetary policy. Topics like the transmission of the monetary policy, financial taxation, the role of foreign bank and safety net system are discussed along the paper.
