Abstract

hh provides a series of utilities for husband-wife data in "long" format, i.e., data and husbands and wifes are stored in different records. The utility commands facilitate obtaining various within-household statistics, such as husband-wife correlations/tabulations, or regression analyses of household characteristics on individual and household characteristics. hhcorr within household correlations hhcount bycount for households hhi utility for multi-level analyses hhset declare hh data hhtab husband-by-wife tabulate For those with Stata v6 on an internet-accessible machine, install by typing .net cd http://www.fss.uu.nl/soc/iscore/stata/ then .net install hh
