Abstract

expr is a prefix command enables expression expansion in many Stata commands. exprcmd temporarily swicthes on expression expansion in all following commands entered from the keyboard. expr was published as ip19 in STB-39, and was reprinted STB Reprints Vol 7, pages 83-85. For those with Stata v6 on an internet-accessible machine, install by typing .net cd http://www.fss.uu.nl/soc/iscore/stata/ then .net install expr
