multgof performs a series of goodness-of-fit tests for the multinomial distribution. These tests include the LR, Neyman/Wald, Pearson, Kullback, and Freeman-Tukey, and all belong to the Cressie-Read power-family. multgof is a revised and renamed version of the command gof that appeared as sg68 in STB 36, and was reprinted in STB Reprints Vol 6, pages 183-186. For those with Stata v6 on an internet-accessible machine, install by typing .net cd http://www.fss.uu.nl/soc/iscore/stata/ then .net install multgof
