Abstract

[Einleitung - Auftrag] Das Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung (ZEW), Mannheim, und das Fraunhofer Institut für System- und Innovationsforschung ISI, Karlsruhe, führen inzwischen zum vierten Mal im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi) das jährliche Monitoring der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft in Deutschland durch. Der aktuelle Monitoringbericht 2016 setzt das Monitoring der vergangenen Jahre fort. Er untersucht die Bedeutung der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft für die Gesamtwirtschaft und stellt die Entwicklung wirtschaftlicher Kennzahlen für den Zeitraum 2010 bis 2015 dar. Grundlage für diese Analysen sind Daten aus öffentlich zugänglichen Quellen, Datenbestände am ZEW sowie aus einer repräsentativen Erhebung, die das ZEW 2016 in der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft in Deutschland durchgeführt hat.
