Makroökonomische Effekte einer früheren Anhebung des gesetzlichen Pensionsalters für Frauen in Österreich

Abstract

Wenn das Antrittsalter für normale Alterspensionen für Frauen schrittweise nicht erst bis 2024, sondern schon bis 2019 auf 65 Jahre angehoben wird, wächst das Arbeitskräfteangebot in der Altersgruppe der 60- bis 64-jährigen Frauen, und das tatsächliche Pensionsantrittsalter steigt. Die Pensionsausgaben sinken in der Übergangsphase um 0,12% des BIP p.a. Aufgrund der längeren Erwerbstätigkeit erhöhen sich danach die Neupensionen und damit die Pensionsaufwendungen (+0,03% des BIP). Im Übergangszeitraum steigen auch die Aufwendungen der Arbeitslosenversicherung. Dieser Effekt kompensiert die Senkung der Pensionskosten teilweise.
