Klima- und Energiemodellregionen. Effekte im Energiesystem und in der (regionalen) Wirtschaft

Abstract

Der österreichische Klima- und Energiefonds hat das Ziel, eine Verringerung der Treibhausgasemissionen und eine Transformation des Energiesystems zu unterstützen. Eine Programmlinie umfasst die Förderung von "Klima- und Energiemodellregionen" zur Erreichung der österreichischen Ziele im Bereich erneuerbarer Energie, Energieeffizienz und Senkung der CO2-Emissionen. In der vorliegenden Studie werden potentielle Effekte von in den Klima- und Energiemodellregionen geplanten Maßnahmen zur Erhöhung der Energieeffizienz und des Anteils erneuerbarer Energieträger im Energiesystem und in der Wirtschaft geschätzt, wobei der Fokus auf den Bereichen Mobilität, Wohngebäude und Bereitstellung von Elektrizität und Fernwärme liegt. Die Berechnungen basieren auf zwei Szenarien für Veränderungen im Energiesystem und den daraus folgenden ökonomischen Effekten ("ambitioniertes Szenario", "konservatives Szenario"), die die Bandbreite der möglichen Effekte abdecken.
