Fehlzeitenreport 2007. Krankheits- und unfallbedingte Fehlzeiten in Österreich

Abstract

Krankheits- und unfallbedingte Fehlzeiten sind die wichtigste Ursache unvorhergesehe-ner Arbeitsausfälle und mit hohen betriebs- und volkswirtschaftlichen Kosten verbunden. In Anlehnung an den Fehlzeiten-Report in Deutschland hat das WIFO ein Daten- und Analysegerüst erstellt, um die Entwicklung der krankheitsbedingten Fehlzeiten in Öster-reich zu dokumentieren und einen Beitrag zur gesundheitspolitischen Diskussion zu leis-ten. Neben der langfristigen Entwicklung der Krankenstände wurden die Ursachen der Fehlzeiten, die Bedeutung der Arbeitsunfälle, die Zusammenhänge zwischen Arbeitslo-sigkeit und Krankenstand sowie die Kosten der Fehlzeiten untersucht.
