Abstract

Die Studie liefert Hinweise zur Weiterentwicklung des arbeitsmarktpolitischen Instrumentariums in Tirol. Der Arbeitsmarkt entwickelt sich in Tirol günstig, die Beschäftigung wächst deutlich überdurchschnittlich. Die Arbeitslosenquote und der Anteil der Langzeitarbeitslosen an der Arbeitslosigkeit sind, wie auch die Erwerbsquote, niedriger als im Österreich- bzw. EU-Durchschnitt. Problematisch sind allerdings nach wie vor die geringe Erwerbsbeteiligung der Älteren, die hohe Saisonalität, die großen regionalen Disparitäten und die beträchtlichen Geschlechterunterschiede, die eine erhebliche Schlechterstellung der Frauen anzeigen.
