Teilstudie 6: Bevölkerungsentwicklung und Migration

Abstract

Aufgrund der anhaltend hohen Zuwanderung im Gefolge von EU-Integration und EU-Erweiterung verschiebt sich die drohende Verknappung von Arbeitskräften in die weitere Zukunft. Erst zwischen 2020 und 2030 stabilisiert sich das Arbeitskräfteangebot und nimmt danach leicht ab. Im Strukturwandel des Arbeitskräfteangebotes, insbesondere in der Alterung, der Zunahme des Frauenanteils und der Multikulturalität liegen gesellschafts- und beschäftigungspolitische Herausforderungen. Neue Wege der Aktivierung und Integration sind einzuschlagen, wenn Wirtschaftswachstum, Beschäftigungswachstum und der soziale Zusammenhalt gestärkt werden sollen.
