Abstract

Rita Asplundin toimittamassa Education and Earnings -tutkimuksessa esitellään uutta eurooppalaista tutkimusta koulutuksen yksilöille tuottamasta taloudellisesta hyödystä. Tutkimuksessa käsitellään mm. koulutuksen ja työttömyyden välistä suhdetta, yritysten halua investoida yleisluontoiseen verrattuna yrityskohtaiseen koulutukseen ja sitä, parantavatko koulutusinvestoinnit todella yksilön tuottavuutta. Neljäntenä aiheena tutkitaan korkeakoulutukseen hakeutumista sekä julkisen rahoituksen ja koulutuksen tuottoasteen vaikutusta hakeutumispäätöksiin.
