Abstract

Towards Poverty Reduction, SPDC's third annual review of social development in Pakistan, proposes a three-pronged comprehensive poverty reduction strategy focusing on greater opportunity, empowerment, and welfare, which goes substantially beyond what the government is doing. This review has been prepared by the Social Policy and Develpment Centre in order to promote informed discussion and action on vital sector issues facing the country today.
