Abstract

Esta obra examina las principales políticas de bienestar en España: bienes preferentes (educación, sanidad y vivienda), transferencias monetarias (pensiones y prestaciones contra la pobreza) y sistema impositivo. A través de los dieciséis capítulos que componen este libro se explora la influencia de las políticas del Estado del Bienestar en la distribución de la renta. Con esta obra, que ha contado con la colaboración de un amplio grupo de expertos en las distintas áreas abordadas, se pretende ofrecer un instrumento útil para el conjunto de la comunidad investigadora, los decisores públicos, y para todos cuantos se interesan por una problemática central en el inicio del siglo XXI.
