Abstract

El Centro de Economía Aplicada de la Facultad de Economía de la Universidad Externado de Colombia realizó la tarea de identificación y construcción de series estadísticas del Departamento de Cundinamarca. Se empalmó y calculó el pib con la metodología del sistema de cuentas de 1994, y se estimó el empleo, el consumo, la inversión y el acervo de capital del departamento para el período comprendido entre 1960 y 2007. El propósito fue crear unas bases de datos longitudinales básicas para que Planeación Departamental pueda hacer análisis de tendencias de largo plazo, información que es relevante en procesos de planeación y en negociaciones con otras regiones del país o para evaluar los impactos de las políticas nacionales.
