Abstract

Repensando la integración y las integraciones recoge dieciséis artículos –cinco de estudiosos nacionales y once de académicos extranjeros– en los que se realizó un profundo análisis en estas materias, y su principal riqueza radica en que se trata de una propuesta colectiva desde diversas perspectivas disciplinarias –política, económica, histórica, jurídica, etc.– que reflexiona y debate sobre las crisis, los cambios, vicisitudes y nuevas formulaciones de los procesos de integración. El libro se dividió en cuatro partes: el primer apartado dedicado a las relaciones entre regiones, donde se aborda la relación de la Unión Europea con el Mediterráneo, Brasil y el Mercosur, además, en virtud del TLC, la que se ocupa de Colombia con Norteamérica. La segunda sección se consagra al estudio de los procesos de integración latinoamericanos, y analiza primero el modelo que se sigue, y luego, la Unasur, Mercosur y la reciente Alianza del Pacífico. La tercera parte hace un estudio de la seguridad jurídica en los procesos de integración y trata temas relativos a los derechos fundamentales, al ejercicio comparado de los sistemas jurisdiccionales de la integración, a la recepción del derecho del Mercosur en el ordenamiento brasileño y a la solución de controversias comerciales internacionales de Colombia. Por último, un cuarto apartado que se ocupa de la reformulación de la integración y las integraciones, que estudió las particularidades de los procesos latinoamericanos, su futuro, los modelos alternativos y la movilización social de los indignados en Europa.
