Abstract

El 11 de octubre de 2006 se cumplió el 125 aniversario del nacimiento del más eminente y afamado jurista de lengua alemana del siglo xx. Con este motivo organizaron el Consejo Nacional de la República de Austria, el Instituto Hans Kelsen de Viena y el Centro de Investigación Hans Kelsen de Erlangen un acto solemne en homenaje a Hans Kelsen (1881-1973). En el marco de esa reunión se presentó este escrito con la autobiografía de Hans Kelsen. Él constituye al mismo tiempo el preludio de la publicación de las “Obras de Hans Kelsen”. Esta edición, que comprende la obra completa de Kelsen, tanto la publicada hasta ahora como la no publicada, está al cuidado del suscrito en cooperación con el Instituto Hans Kelsen de Viena. El Editor será apoyado profesionalmente en esa tarea por un gremio de 16 asesores principales, que está compuesto por expertos internacionalmente renombrados de Kelsen. La atención editorial ha sido asumida por la Editorial Mohr Siebeck.
