Abstract

Colombia está atravesando una profunda crisis. Esta afirmación introduce todos los escritos de aquellos que se interesan en este país latinoamericano que, desde hace mucho tiempo, sirve de tema de estudio para colombianos y extranjeros. Durante la segunda mitad del siglo xx Colombia, a diferencia de casi toda América Latina, solo conoció una corta dictadura pero hoy la guerrilla más antigua del mundo pone en peligro la estabilidad del Estado y la existencia misma de la democracia.
