Mit den diesjährigen Trägern des Nobelpreises für Wirtschaft, Robert. F. Engle und Clive W.J. Granger, werden zwei Vertreter der Zeitreihenökonometrie geehrt. Wie hat sich durch ihr Werk die statistische Analyse ökonomischer Zeitreihen verändert? Wie wird heute Volatilität auf Finanzmärkten analysiert?
