Fragile Erholung der Weltwirtschaft

Abstract

Die Weltkonjunktur befindet sich in diesem Sommer, wie schon im vergangenen Herbst, in einer kritischen Phase. Nach einer deutlichen Erholung zu Beginn dieses Jahres haben sich die Aussichten für einen Aufschwung erneut eingetrübt. Ein wieder kühleres Wirtschaftsklima und die deutliche Abwertung des Dollar, vor allem aber der Kurssturz an den Aktienbörsen haben zu wachsender Unsicherheit über den weiteren Konjunkturverlauf geführt. Wird ein Aufschwung der Weltwirtschaft durch die Entwicklungen an den Finanzmärkten gefährdet, oder setzt er sich gleichwohl durch und stabilisiert auch die Devisen- und Wertpapiermärkte?
