Abstract

Die Problematik des Bankgeheimnisses geriet durch die Terroranschläge von New York wieder in den Blick der Öffentlichkeit. Die EU hatte schon im Juni 2000 beschlossen, gegen Ende der Dekade unter ihren Mitgliedsländern ein System von Kontrollmitteilungen zu etablieren. Welche Widerstände gibt es dagegen? Welchen Ansprüchen muss eine politische Regulierung genügen?
