Abstract

Die am Finanzmarkt über Jahre geläufige Metapher vom Ende des Zyklus, die als Rechtfertigung für die beispiellosen Aktienkursniveaus Ende der 1990er Jahre herhalten musste, erwies sich als Schimäre. Wie konnte es zu diesen Übertreibungen an den Aktienmärkten kommen? Welche Rolle kommt der Stabilisierungspolitik bei der Krisenbewältigung zu?
