Deutsche Konjunktur verliert an Fahrt

Abstract

Nach einem schwachen zweiten Halbjahr 2018 expandierte das BIP im ersten Quartal dieses Jahres wieder kräftiger. Allerdings lassen vorlaufende Indikatoren wie die Erwartungen der Unternehmen und die Auftragseingänge rückläufige Zuwachsraten für die verbleibenden Quartals dieses Jahreserwarten. Die Inlandsnachfrage wird dabei dank wohl auch künftig kräftiger Einkommenszuwächse voraussichtlich weiterhin deutlich ausgeweitet. Dämpfende Einflüsse kommen von der Außenwirtschaft, die unter dem um sich greifenden Protektionismus leidet. Alles in allem dürfte das BIP in diesem Jahr um 0,8% und im kommenden um 1,4% zulegen. Am Arbeitsmarkt machen sich erste Spuren der sich abschwächenden Konjunktur bemerkbar. Die Arbeitslosenquote dürfte im Prognosezeitraum nur noch wenig auf 5,0% (2019) bzw. 4,95 (2020) sinken. Die Teuerung bleibt mit Inflationsraten von 1,3% in diesem und 1,4% im kommenden Jahr moderat. Der Staatshaushalt wird voraussichtlich weiterhin Überschüsse aufweisen, die aber kleiner werden.
