Differenzierte Ertragslage im Industriebereich Chemie Ostdeutschlands

Abstract

Der Beitrag behandelt die Entwicklung der Kosten- und Ertragslage im ostdeutschen Industriebereich Chemie seit Anfang der 90er Jahre. Er zeigt: die ostdeutschen Anbieter in der chemischen Industrie haben die Lohnstückkostenposition ihrer westdeutschen Konkurrenten im Jahr 2001 unterboten. Sie haben jedoch im Schnitt die Gewinnzone noch nicht erreicht. Deutlich günstiger ist dagegen die Ertragslage in der Gummi- und Kunststoffwarenindustrie. Allerdings differiert hier die Rendite zwischen kleinen, mittleren und großen Unternehmen erheblich. Die sehr unterschiedliche Ertragslage sollte bei allen Entscheidungen, die Einfluss auf die Kosten nehmen, so auch bei der Tarifrunde 2004, beachtet werden.
