Österreich 2025 – Perspektiven einer regional differenzierten Wohnungs- und Verkehrspolitik vor dem Hintergrund des demographischen Wandels in Österreich

Abstract

Das starke Wachstum der Wohnbevölkerung lässt regional unterschiedliche Veränderungen der Nachfrage nach Wohnungen erwarten. Wie die Ergebnisse einer Analyse mit Discrete-Choice-Methoden auf Basis aktueller Mikrozensusdaten zeigen, haben der Anstieg der Wohnkosten und eine Verbesserung der Erreichbarkeit großen Einfluss auf die Wahl der Wohnregion. Aus diesen Ergebnissen können Anforderungen an die Infrastruktur-, Wohnungs- und Verkehrspolitik abgeleitet werden, um den skizzierten Entwicklungen Rechnung zu tragen bzw. sie zu begleiten.
