Konjunktur gewinnt nur langsam an Schwung. Prognose für 2014 und 2015

Abstract

Gegen Jahresende belebte sich die Konjunktur in Österreich wie auch in Europa insgesamt. Die Beschleunigung wird allerdings weiterhin verhalten sein: Viele Länder haben die Finanzmarktkrise noch nicht überwunden, und die Notwendigkeit der Konsolidierung der öffentlichen Haushalte dämpft die Aufwärtsentwicklung. Die österreichische Wirtschaft wird 2014 und 2015 um jeweils 1,7% wachsen – zu wenig, um die Arbeitslosigkeit zurückzudrängen. Die Inflationsrate ist zwar rückläufig, bleibt aber im Vergleich mit den anderen EU-Ländern hoch.
