Strukturwandel als Indikator für die Qualifikationsnachfrage der Wirtschaft

Abstract

In Österreich wachsen Branchen mit mittleren berufsspezifischen sowie höheren Qualifikationsanforderungen, während Branchen mit niedrigen Qualifikationsanforderungen schrumpfen. Die historische Spezialisierung auf eher "traditionelle" Branchen verändert sich damit zugunsten von wissensintensiveren Bereichen. Das Bildungssystem steht vor der Aufgabe, die steigende Nachfrage nach höheren Qualifikationen zu meistern.
