Konjunktur bleibt robust – Industrie und Bauwirtschaft bestimmen die Dynamik. Prognose für 2007 und 2008

Abstract

Österreichs Wirtschaft wird auch heuer um über 3% wachsen. Erst 2008 ist mit einer Verlangsamung der Expansion auf 2½% zu rechnen. Die Beschäftigung wird dank der robusten Konjunktur anhaltend ausgeweitet, gleichzeitig kann die Arbeitslosigkeit weiter verringert werden. Die für diese Konjunkturphase unüblich geringen Lohnsteigerungen dämpfen zwar einerseits die Konsumentwicklung, halten aber andererseits die Inflation trotz des dynamischen Wachstums niedrig. Die öffentlichen Haushalte werden durch die kräftige Konjunktur auf der Einnahmenseite deutlich entlastet.
