Abstract

2005 jährt sich der Abschluss des Österreichischen Staatsvertrags zum 50. Mal. Die Grundlagen für das österreichische "Wirtschaftswunder" wurden im ersten Nachkriegsjahrzehnt geschaffen. Damals wurden wichtige Weichen auf dem Weg zur späteren Wohlstandsgesellschaft gestellt. Vorbildhaft für spätere Generationen waren der Umgang mit "fundamentaler" Unsicherheit und die Art, wie soziale Konflikte gelöst wurden.
